CBRNE Regional Project Manager
As the CBRNE Regional Project Manager, Tom English directs numerous region-wide investments improving capabilities for Fire services and CBRNE incident prevention, detection, and response through training, exercises, and equipment purchases. Tom is a member of the Bay Area Training and Exercise Program (BATEP) team and chairs the UASI’s CBRNE Work Group.
Before joining UASI, Tom worked for the County of Sonoma with the Sonoma County Water Agency as an Environmental Regulatory Compliance Specialist & a Logistics Manager with the Sonoma Water Emergency Operations Center. Prior to that Tom served for 10 years in the U.S. Army as an active duty Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosive (CBRNE) Non-Commissioned Officer & as an Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO), serving in units located in Germany, Maryland, Washington State, and various locations internationally.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography with a concentration on Environment & Society from Sonoma State University, an Associate of Science in Geospatial Technology (GIS) & an Associate of Science in Natural Sciences from Santa Rosa Junior College.
