RCPGP Regional Project Manager
As a Regional Project Manager, Christophe Arnold leads the UASI’s initiatives funded by the Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RCPGP), supports the operation of the Bay Area Training and Exercise Program (BATEP), and chairs the Emergency Management Work Group. In this role he directs numerous region-wide exercises and orchestrates regional projects across the Bay Area’s jurisdictions improving capabilities for health and social services, logistics and supply chain management, operational coordination, community resilience, housing, planning, and more.
Christophe hails from the North, he is 50% Canadian and 50% Swiss, making him 100% polite & efficient. Prior to joining the Bay Area UASI, he spent more than a decade responding to large-scale disasters internationally, in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
He holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute (Geneva, Switzerland), and Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Simon Fraser University (Canada). Christophe also holds Certificates in Construction Management (UCLA), Professional Fundraising (Boston University), and Community Development (Simon Fraser University).
