Risk Management Regional Project Manager
Craig Mohar recently joined the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management as Risk Management Project Manager for the Bay Area Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) program. His portfolio includes the UASI Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) and Stakeholder Preparedness Review (SPR). Before joining the Bay Area UASI, he worked for over 25 years in the Sacramento Police Department, including as Program Manager in the Sacramento Regional Office of Homeland Security. He has a Master of Arts degree in Security Studies (Homeland Security and Defense) from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Master of Arts degree in Management from Sonoma State University. His undergraduate degree is in Business Administration from Sacramento State University. Craig is originally from the North Bay and is a lifelong San Francisco Giant’s fan.
